How to get to Tsudaro, in the heart of the Gion district
Via Taxi– Kyoto offers a very Reliable and convenient taxi service from anywhere in the city. If the driver doesn’t know Tsudaro right away, please just mention “Gion Kobu Kaburenjo”.
Via train– The closest train stations are “Gion Shijo” Station (Keihan Line) and “Kawaramachi” Station (Hankyu Line).
Each are an easy 5-10 min. walk to Tsudaro.
Via Bus– The 5, 12, 46, 57, 100, 201, 202, 203 and 206 routes all make stops at GION, with is another 5 min. walk to Tsudaro. (From Kyoto Station, take the 206 bus at D2 to Bus.)
